Y4MH is a niche, specialized class, focusing on various areas within the realm of stress and mental health. The class pace varies based on the topic taught, which is determined in advance. These class flows are formulated with guidance from the latest research and studies and combines a somatic approach of yoga with the cognitive approach to healing.

Vinyasa links the breath with movement. Our vinyasa class experience allows our clients to enjoy a quicker-paced flow, coupled with the benefits of continuous guidance from an instructor. This class is recommended for clients who have attended at least 1 -5 yoga classes, however, all of our teachers will be supportive towards beginners and will help guide them through class.

Basic 101 is a perfectly balanced flow for both new and seasoned practitioners. Clients will learn about breath, foot placement, standing poses, rotation of the legs, health of the pelvis and foundational elements of the practice. Basic 101 is a phenomenal flow as well as a refreshing educational resource.

Yin is a slow-paced styled flow, incorporating the principles of traditional chinese medicine, with asanas that are held for longer periods of time. For beginners, asanas may be held from 45 seconds to 2 minutes. For more advanced practitioners may stay in one asana for 5 minutes or more.

Restorative yoga is all about slowing down and opening the body through passive stretching. During various long holds, the muscles are allowed to relax deeply. Incorporating props, rather than ones own weight, allows each client to feel supported in their body The class closes with a yoga nidra (yogic sleep) which is a state of consciousness between waking and sleeping that is induced by a guided meditation.

Slow Flow instruction allows the you to slow down their movement and delve deeper into the muscular system by holding poses for an extended period of time. It is designed to transition from gentle movements to static poses. This class allows for students to cultivate a deep breath and body connection.

Pranayama, the formal practice of controlling the breath, lies at the heart of yoga. Its mysterious powers soothe and revitalize a tired body or a wild mind. This seated class focuses on techniques and practices to manipulate the breath to use for personal well being and overall calm.
